I also want to do a 20g-LT, but I'm waiting on Buschur to get back in touch with me. I'm not as worried about that, but I want all of the listed items done in time for the two CA events, both of which I'm registered for...

ETS? What happened to you Buschur Parts? I had a ETS 3.0 and it fit perfect, better then the AMS unit I swapped it with. You will like the ETS and it's custom core, I just pictured you with the Buschur RACE core.

That's what I wanted, but I couldn't ever convince him to give me one. Someone gave me the ETS, so that's what I'm using.

Been looking around and can't find what I'm looking for. Anyone know if anyone has done a back to back test of stock intake vs stock intake with high flow filter vs. open intake with dyno results?

Also, anyone done a back to back dyno test of the E9 BOV vs. a TIAL to see if the stocker actually leaks at high PSI (25-30 range)??

I would like to see real-world or dyno results, not just a test on a flow bench or hooking a compressor up to the BOVs. . .

Thanks!!

I had a perfect run going until that cone--I completely forgot abt it... I had all of my runs on video & almost had to stop (!) the car to avoid the cone--but I was too late/too deep. Still ran a 43.7, but calculated a mid 42 had I not made that error.

I completely checked out after that--3 DNFs the next day. It was my 1st National event & I CHOKED!

Of note on the Blob course: my car was lifting both (yes both) inside wheels on the big, uphill left-hander. The vid is actually comical, smoking all the way up that hill.

Since then, I got rid of the short-travel Megans & replaced them w/ KWs & the Whiteline kit. I lowered the front ride height abt 2", as the car was waaay too high in the front. We're still trying to dial it in as the car is still lifting slightly in the rear during heavy transitions.

Also added an ARC 073w FMIC & GT Spec header (net loss of approx 3# on the front end--AWESOME!) UICP/LICP are still pending, as is final race fuel dyno tuning.

The car sits much better now:

That's funny, someone gave me the AMS FMIC . IDK, maybe just buy the race core, I am sure Dave will give you a great deal for one, you are sponsored by him right?

I am, but I can't get him to budge on the FMIC and IC piping, so I'll go with the free ETS one and piping from VIP.

How do you like the GT Spec header? Can you tell any difference in spool up or powerband? You haven't had it back on a dyno yet have you?

BTW, nice looking car!

I am interested too, its a cheap alternitave compared to the full race one. i have seen that putting it on w/o tuning gains 10 whp off the bat

Good so far... Seems to spool harder, but not necessarily sooner. We'll see how it holds up. I bought it barely used, so I was able to save some $$.

I've never had my car on a dyno, so no telling what it'll put down--but I'm sure there's more in it...

Thx for the props on the car

BTW guys, my ACT 6 puck sprung clutch has held up well for what must be nearly 200 launches. Any recommendations for a very durable clutch? Holding no more than 450whp @ most & up to many, many launches...

I say if it worked that well for you and held up that long, go for another ACT.

Other than that I would recommend the Exedy Twin Disc or Twin HD. . .
