I read somewhere that they are bumping power up to 300bhp... & it should retail for 55k... we'll see.

Wow, real proud of ya.
FYI its a Turbo Audi Motor, you can get 500WHP with that too, and immagine 500WHP and 1500 Pounds..

Well are these specs of your evo above? are you trying to show off how much you like your car and how fast it is lol we get your point you are fast man  . Not to argue with you because we will get no where.
This is a lighter car it will turn and handle better than a 3000 pound car period. It will be cheaper and easier on equipment and it will be a lot more fun to toss around.
Also, if you have not read the article it has very good aero dynamic, it pushes 200 pounds down force at over 100 miles per hour making it stick like glue.
My question is would you take 1500WHP 3000 pound car and 4wd over F1 car?
This is not daily driver car although I am sure it will be a lot of fun.

I get what your saying but a 500 whp 1500 lb car with tires as big as the ones on there will do you about as much good as 300whp.
On the track there is no doubt that thing will be a blast to drive!!!
Az3ar, I get what your saying and agree that it will be very quick, but there is something to be said for all these super light open top track specials. On paper and on the track they are phenominal but the fact that you cannot possibly use one in the road in 50 percent of the circumstances you drive makes them less appealing to me, maybe it's just me but I want to have a car that I can drive all the time in all conditions.
