I get what your saying but a 500 whp 1500 lb car with tires as big as the ones on there will do you about as much good as 300whp.

On the track there is no doubt that thing will be a blast to drive!!!

Az3ar, I get what your saying and agree that it will be very quick, but there is something to be said for all these super light open top track specials. On paper and on the track they are phenominal but the fact that you cannot possibly use one in the road in 50 percent of the circumstances you drive makes them less appealing to me, maybe it's just me but I want to have a car that I can drive all the time in all conditions.

If the 1500whp 3000 pound car was streetable, made over 1.5 g's on the skidpad, held 4 people comfortable and was good in the snow hell yes.

Now because that car is imaginary I'll take the F1 car any day , pref early 90's with huge ass slicks.

The article says they will make a decision about production by April 2007. It's August 2007 now. Are they producing the car?

Again, you don't know that. The Ferrari F40 had 500HP and 2300 Pounds and it hooked on a 20+ Year old chasis.

With the right tires/suspension it'll hook. Atleast as well as as a Z06.

Not that its old, no sir. The fact that it was eons ahead of it's time. It's my Favorite Supercar and infact was the original Supercar. 1st 200MPH car. 1st in so many aspects. Power to weight had a LOT to do with it.
