You don't want to pay the price for them. Volk TE37 mag. They are only 1200 per rim if you find a real good deal. lol.

Doubtful when 18x8s are 16lbs.
I'd love to see someone run magnesium/carbon fiber wheels (14lbs 18x10).

quick question. Is the intercooler sprayer/bottle considered part of the intercooler and thus free according to SP rules?

Looking for some lighter ones yet.

Or add or delete one with UD/BD from a RS to a GSR.?

I actually sent them an email today asking about the weights for 9.5, 10, an 10.5 wide 18" rims and the answer (although not really volunteering lots of info) was 15 to 20 lb depending on type.

I hadn't thought about UD/BD, I thought they all had IC sprayers.
btw, no trickery here. It actually is me (Marshall). My question doesn't relate to "the" evo. I was just curious.

Only 03/04s have the IC sprayer, because in 05, we started getting ACD, which has the reservoir in the same spot. Great addition in place of the useless IC sprayer, hah.

Eliminating the IC sprayer bottle nets about 4lbs FWIW. Not a bad "free" savings off the very front of the car. My assumption is that it's an UD/BD since it isn't on the 05+ models.

If i'm reading the rule book correctly the number of seat for Bsp should remain the same. So, no rear seat removal; how do you Bsp guys carry your extra set of wheels and equipment to the events?

u can fit 3 in the back and one in the trunk. but then theres no room for tools like a jack. but it might fit on the floor under the wheels. I was going to do bsp but id rather have the seats out so i can pull it off if i need to transport tools and my wheels.

I am in SM, but I have never removed any interior. I put my big 18X9.5s with 285s, a toolbox, jack, compressor, cooler, impact gun (in its box), etc etc. You can fit all of that in the car just fine. Why can't you fit that stuff, manny? I do 2 wheels/tires in the back seat, and the other 2 in the trunk.

Seriously...it fits pretty easy. I do 2 wheels in trunk w/air tank, water sprayer and helmet, inside is 2 more wheels, jack, toolbox, cooler. I could def fit another whole set of wets in there if I had to. Without the rear seat gets nice and roomy in there, but it isn't necessary, nor should it be a reason to choose which class you run in.
