whoa those are killer numbers. I have no idea what the stock MR does 0-60.
I'm interested in getting in the 4.5-4.8 range without launch. How probable is this?

yeah its really hard to improve 0-60 once you hit low 4s, especially on the SST where you can`t really launch it harder. TCU tunning anyone?

Not really sure if this sounds right, but would the 0-60 time improve if you let off the brake as soon as the rpm hit around 4K, so as the needle was swinging up ward, so the rpms wouldn't drop ?
Oh and thanks for all the imput guys! ! !

How are you guys getting your times, accessport? The reason I ask is that there is a huge delay between the car actually moving and the start of my accessport. The accessport starts when I start giving it gas not when my car starts moving so whether I try to launch or not the times are pretty similar. I will have to video tape it or get a stopwatch unless there are any suggestions.

For launch 0-100 (0-60) timing, u can look at the speedometer to approximate the timing.
However, for 0-100(0-60) timing w/o launch, it is more tricky as the following events happen in sequence:
1. Brake off, u stomp the accelerator (WOT)
2. RPM needle will first swing
3. Speedo will only start to move from 0 after the RPM has move pass, say 3K RPM
So, there is a lag between WOT and speedo starting to swing from zero. In my previous ride, i had done both datalog and video at the same time (numerious time). The results that i arrived through log analysis were constantly about 1.2s slower than what i counted from the video (ie, count from video = the moment the speedo needle leave 0 till it reaches 100kmh). If i saw a 5s from the video, my log told me it was about 6.2s.
I've not done so for my X yet, but i am seeing the same RPM needle swinging first to about 3k rpm before the speedo starts to move in my video. I would suspect my log will say that i am about 1 to 1.2s slower than what the video suggested.
As mentioned, video time counting for torque launch does not have this issue and is fairly accruate IMHO... ie U release the brake and bomb the speedo starts to fly away from zero.
