Where all the SST Clutch upgrades at
The sin, Voodooman, any one else that upgraded their clutch? its like you all vanished. maybe the evo gods were afraid you had unlocked the power to evil torque levels and forced you to drive sti's until you gave up on life.
OR, all your mr's broke down on you and either you are to shocked/embarrassed to talk on the forums?
OR, you contacted each other through pm's and told each other not to tell anyone in the mr community about your success until all of you hit like 600hp, then you will unleash the info and everyone will jizz in their pants.
seriously? what happened.

I looked at sheps website. Looks like they are working on some mods for the sst. I am going to call them to see what they are doing. It would be nice to get some people tearing in to the sst so we can at least have it repaired if we stretch the limits to far for the sst. Only options now are to buy another SST from the dealer for around 8K to 10K. Thats alot of cash for a trans.

Well the guys at sheps answered back already:
" Right now we are doing the clutch, trans pan and trans cooler. We have an Ecu here that we are having someone try to crack to see what we can alter."
That's all they told me so let see what happens. If they do come out with stuff, I'm deff jumping on it.

This is directly from Kris @ SSP......
Shep Trans Building Evo SST MR X Transmissions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the moment we have been waiting for at SSP. We have been talking with John over the last several months about installing SSP transmisison parts in the EVO SST MR. This is great news for anyone that wants to upgrade their transmissions.
John is going to be doing the full clutch upgrade packages, as well as the SSP front transmission cooler package.
At this time Shep has installed several SSP upgraded clutch packs, cooler, and deep pans.

We've taken plenty of SST apart....No need to buy a 8k transmission from the dealer.

this is about as exciting as watching paint dry. They are moving slooowwwww because theres no real demand. Aside from the few MR gear heads in this section Sheps prob. got a pile of evo 8/9/x grs trannies piled high to get rebuilt. 99% of MR owners are no mods or minor bolt-ons to save the warranty.......That said I love the MR and think they should only sell new evo's with it. then you would see some action hopefully with all the models offering this SST it will happen.
