Rev Limit in auto mode

My friend is going to get a MR and is planning to mod it as another guy's GSR (i dont know the details, i just know it is some bolt-on and ecu).

The point is that with that mod the maximum power is reached at 7600rpm and from different clips seen on web it seems that MR in automatic mode doesnt go much further than 7000rpm even in S-Sport.

I know that can be easily solved using it in manual mode, but since my friend would be forced to use it exclusively in automatic modefor physical problems, he's wondering what could be done so to reach 7600rpm even in automatic.

Thanks.

Maximum power at 7600 RPM? Ummm....really? Most people on stock turbos have levelled out before this and are actually starting to taper. What mods is he planning? I can assure you though, that the MR in sport does go past 7K RPM. In fact, I manually shift around there because I feel as if I'm beginning to get out of my powerband at that point already.

The paddles are glorified switches. So is the center console shift lever. Have whoever is doing the hand control modifications incorporate the shift switches into them via a push button or some other method that your friend can manage.
