You can get upgraded clutch packs from SSP Performance for under 1200. You can pull a tranny and change the clutches if the stock ones go out. Then you're looking at 450+whp.

Is it $1200 for the clutches + installation, or is installation included?
Either way, aftermarket options are a big deal for the guys that are doing significant mods to their cars.

Nah that's just for the clutch pack and necessary stuff that goes with it.

i wouldnt mind doing my tranny clutches at some point regardless of if i go higher power or not, im not in a rush though, and if i dont have any problems til 50k miles and i need clutches then, ill have no complaints
my mods are, full ams exhaust, ams innercooler and piping, ams intake (non cold air)
then it was dyno tuned at 'the shop' in norwalk ct, it was putting down more power on a first few runs but i told them to back to power down a tad, i wanted a extreme cold weather safe tune, i dont feel like dealing with check engine lights
i wanna do a FP red at some point, but if i do that before the tranny work im not gonna tune it for much more power then im getting right now
and again, i dont really expect the transmission to last forever, esp with how i drive, alot of full throttle upshifts (except first gear, im pretty easy on first)
ill let you know if i manage to break anything, but honestly it hasnt done anything but act perfect since it learned the new horsepower
pic of my dyno read out, had to go look for it

Yes, definitely keep posting. By the time I get an MR (if I decide to join the Mitsu camp), I want you guys to have tested and proven the parts already.

My mods are in my sig. Gonna get tuned by Evolution Dynamics here in Dallas before October. I will post up what we accomplish. I haven't had any issues with the tranny with all my mods installed up to this point.

Does the F400 have an option for the SST tranmission? That car is over 400 hp, right?
I'm still stock, but am itching to get it around the 300 mark pretty quick since it takes so little to get it there.

I do believe that the hp numbers on the FQ400/330 are both brake hp and not wheel hp.
