MR - car won't move in drive

I washed my car the other day then pulled it back into the garage where it sat for 2 days. This morning I get in, start her up, and after about 30 seconds or so of warm up put the car in drive. I hit the gas, the engine revs, but the car does NOT move. I try again about 3 times revving a little higher and nothing.

It feels like the car is in neutral even though it's supposed to be in gear. Has anyone experienced this before? What can I do when this happens? I'm going to try it again later but I'm a tad nervous.

Since the thread was closed in the general discussion forum I figured I'd post here and let anyone who managed to make their way over that it was indeed the rotors sticking.

What a sigh of relief I let out.

Also, my apologies to those who wanted to see video of me launching my car out of the garage

How high did you have to rev it before it broke free? Good to hear it wasn't anything serious.

I honestly didn't look at the tach, but judging by the sound I'd say around 4-4.5k rpms.

I guess after a wash I'll have to go for a quick drive around the block before storing it away in the garage.

Wow, that's crazy. I've not experienced this before, and I've washed it then put it away in the garage for upwards of 4 or 5 days. I did have this happen to me on my truck the other day, though it was the rear drums.

When you parked it did you set your E-brake?
