Winterizing your Car

Since winter is right around the corner it is a good idea to get your car checked to stay safe and keep your car safe.

Here is a list of areas to look at to have your car prepared for winter.

-Swap out summer tires
-Check Tire Pressure (We Offer Nitrogen in Tires)
-Check all fluids (Oil,Coolant,brake,power,trans,diff,etc..)
-Adjust Ride height if car is lowered (Alignment if ride height is changed)
-Battery/Alternator test
-Underbody inspection
-Wipers
-Belts
-Suspension Shake down
-Brakes
-Check Lights,heater, and defroster
-Any other additional checks that need to be performed

Great shop. I had some winter tires mounted by VS today. Met Matt and Kris, very friendly guys. Matt showed me around and the shop looks great.

Hey Matt,

Do you also offer 30k mile service? I had a price quote from SpeedQuest in Waukegan, IL, for $370. Also, when you do alignments what speed is it up to? I only have an alignment done for up to 50 MPH. I'm also interested in some of your winterizing for my 03' Evo 8. I also need to have my temp gauge looked at because my heat currently isn't working.

Hi, Reeve

Alignments are not based on mph but rather your specifications on how you want the car to handle. Also your temp gauge doesn't have to do with your heat not working but if you bring it by we can check out your heating issue . I am sending you a pm on pricing right now for the price estimates.

good posting as nearly everyone in the midwest now has hit ugly weather and we're still 1.5 months from actually hitting Winter

Exactly I was just watching O'Hare towing show on speed with all the snow on the ground from last years winter.
