    Hey I just wanted to know how much you got your 4G64 engine for and where. And with the swap will I need manual tranny as well?

    just remember that with that head as i have read in some posts that it might cause clearance problems with the pistons and valves. I think the best option is the Hyundia DOHC head. I have heard it is the same but has better clearance for the pistons...But you will need other Hyundia parts to make the head work...I think...Do a search in the forums for it....

    Well M/T are hard to find around here. But I will look for one and see what surfaces. However might be cheaper to just wait LOL. If I manage to find one I doubt it will go for less than $500.

    Yea I am also going to replace all the gaskets and clutch. Only gasket I'm not touching is the Head gasket. When I do the DOHC head swap that is when I will mess with that gasket. As for the tranny, I can look for one for you. If I find one I will let you know. What is wrong with your current Lancer tranny?

    well i wish i could find an evo 8 ecu. so far the ones i can find are $500+ dollars on the web, but none close to me... Besides i only want to pay $250 max for it.
