I got a question. I just picked up a 2003 evo 8 with 21k miles on it and i am about to do some work. I am going to be putting on an intake, UICP, and turbo back exhaust. My question is, is i also order an exhaust manifold that came with a dump pipe and I was reading up on your write up about replacing this and it seems kind of difficult. With what I am going to be doing will this be worth my time to put the dump pipe on? So the downpipe attaches directly to the dump pipe? b/c just had them out of the box and the turbo dump does not seem to be sitting directly into the downpipe....is there something in between? They are both for the evo 8....sorry for the lack of knowledge. This is my first tuner car, so this will be my first time doing this. I will have knowledge mechanics with me however. Your input?
