I'm not really on a budget, but I want to be able to move to E85 as soon as possible, doing the bare minimum to get there, just so I can be running the compound ASAP. Then I will eventually upgrade the rest of the engine components as the engine build continues.
Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Kellon
P.S sorry to make the question so long!
Hey,
I was recently looking into some threads for E85 conversion. I stumbled across one where you spoke of running a fairly stock setup (ECU, Cams, etc) and pushed near 400HP still (was this ATW?).
Now I'm only running an Evo Vii but I am interested (and determined) in moving to E85 as it is readily available where I live, and at a constant rich 83-85% rate.
I was wondering, when you first moved to E85, what was modified with your car in order to allow for the conversion to give such high gains in peak? I know 1000cc injectors are a must to get a decent flow rate of atleast 900cc, but curious as to what else needs to be done? I'm in the dark in areas and looking for no-how from someone having already done this. So I'm kind of hoping, seeing as though you did this in a fairly stock way, you could possibly shed some light for me?

Its doing this on 93 octane (E85 is not available in or near Montgomery, yet that i know of) when it's cold and when it's warm. When its cold the car lops as-if it's not getting enough fuel, and when its warm the car seems to want to shut-off whenever I make stops. Where are you located, B'Ham?
Hello, how are you doing? I was just wondering.... with the weather changing my car seems to be having idling issues. From a cold start and when coming to a complete stop the car seems to want shut off... Whats you take on this?
