hi,
I have been trying to get Mitsulogger v1.6 beta 3 to log 2byte load for about a week now. I have exhausted all of my options. all of my friends are stumped. No one is answering my posts online. Im really desperate to get this working. Im using rom 88590015. I have a 2006 evo ix se. using 1.3u no pin9. im not very familiar with editing xml files and if there is any possibility that you can help me out with this i would greatly appreciate it. i can send you my rom xml as well as mitsulogger xml file for you to look at. My name is John and my cell number is 845-821-3399 and im on evoM basically all day at work so anytime that you can spare to help me out would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get the ball rolling on doing some logging and without load its a little more difficult for me. Again, i would really be greatful if you can help me out.
Thanks
Hey John, I had a question about GTR tuning if you wouldn't mind answering something for me. PM me an email or something and I can ask my question if its not too much of a bother. Thanks!
John was wondering if you could help me out a little, I am looking to put an evo 7 ecu into a 1998 1.6 NA Mivec, I think everything will work out only issue I have is controlling the Mivec solenoid, could you patch a 90550001 rom so that the wastegate output is triggered by an RPM table, i.e at a certain RPM the wastegate output is switched on and switches off below the setopint, pretty simple. Can you help ????
ok I understand that but please bear with me on this till I fully understand how you come up with the correct values to put into the calibration table,
the calibration table is the raw values used from the MAF logs i.e. if I look at my logs I can see that at a certain load the MAP (KPA) can be different values for the same load, I opened the file in evoscan maptracer and asked for the average ie 40 load = 56.7 KPA
are these the values to use in the calibration table ??
then adjust the VE vs RPM percentage to fine tune the correct AFR for a certain load (MAP)
or do I have this totally arseways
VE=Load/MAP(kPa) so you can calculate this from your MAF logs.
VE is looked up as a percentage from the RPM VE table. This corrects the load that is looked up from the bottom row of the MAP calibration and VE table for the corresponding MAP(kPa) value on the top row.
So 850 RPM idle, RPM VE is 90%, MAP is 40kPa, bottom row of the MAP calibration and VE table at this point would be about 36 on my engine, so load = 90% of 36 = 32.4
