I'm having the same problem deciding on what engine to go with. But if you want a cheap deal there's a guy selling a br2.3 longblock for 4500 somewhere on the forums. I was thinking about getting it but I just bought myself the HTA35 turbo kit and I'm tapped out till next April. I honestly was thinking about getting the 2.3rr cause I've delt with AMS the whole time I've had my car. But recently I've been talking to the guys at GSC and I think I might be getting one of their longblocks. Either way you go, I think that HTA35 is going to go well with any of them for drag or street. It's the perfect compromise.
