    Good Afternoon Andrew,

I'm currently sourcing parts for my Evolution 3 rebuild, and upgraded coilovers are definitely on the list. I'm currently in between fortune 500's series and BC RM series. I'm leaning more to the fortunes just because of the testing that's been done with them vs BC.

My Evo 3 from factory is 2,777lbs. Given the fact that I've removed the carpet, roof liner, most of the interior plastic panels, back seats and spear tire, I'd say the car is somewhere around 2692 lbs.

My car is right hand drive and I also have the battery on the left rear side in the trunk (Odyssey PC680). The car also has a whiteline 20mm rear sway bar.

All of that being said, I'm asking for guidance. Should I go with 8k front and 10k rear OR 10k front and 12k rear.

Also which brand would you recommend.

The car will be a daily driver for majority of it's use, and an occasional auto cross event.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks in advance.

    Gabe

Hello sir i have a 2005 EVO 8 and i am looking to try and put coilovers in place of the stock springs. I have been reading a lot about these but i still am kind of confused as to i dont know a whole lot about coilovers spring ratios and which ones to buy. I was reading your post and in it you said you help people find the right coilovers for there needs i was hoping you could help me. I am wanting to be able to take my car to the track and compete not in just drag strips but also courses i want to be able to get the most out of these coilovers so handling is my most important thing with this i am hoping to be able to maximize my speed through corners. At the same time this will be my every day driver car so not only am i looking for performance but a little comfort as well. Would you be able to assist me?

Hey. I am about to get my evo x in about 2 - 3 weeks and I am doing a lot of research on wheels/tires/suspension etc... I heard that you are a suspension genus and I was wondering what suspension would you recommend getting for a aggressive daily driver / track every other week. I am going to get WedsSports SA55M 18 x 9 +20 and Tires: 265/35/18 or 255/35/18. Thanks.

Hi. I just ordered a set of GTWorx lowering springs for $315 + $20 ship. I just finished reading the 34page forum post on these springs. Was there a discount for forum members? or a group buy recently? I just ordered it 10 min ago...Can i cancel and re-order for a discount or for the $299 shipped price? please let me know. Thanks

Hello sir, im looking to get some KW variant 3s. This car is 100% daily driver. I do drive it pretty hard on a few windy roads. Most thought i really want a soft ride that i can take to the track or rage the mountain with a few times a year. Ive seen a few people suggest 7/7 as a softer spring rate, but will that give a buncha bump steer? basically i am asking how soft is the 7/7 setup? mostly i just don't want my car to feel like a jaring stiff race car. its a 350hp lil street warrior.

I would like you option on my suspension setup for track. I am taking part in a race in china chendu, the course is 3.3kms and currently I have the following setup... 2.3 BC stroke engine, FP black turbo, 1000cc injectors, tein monoflex coil-overs, Hks type r inter cooler kit, HKS oil cooler dual setup, Alcon 6pot front & 4pot rear bbk, and would like your option on how to have a good set up.... This is also a street driven car, but when I go to the track I use ad08 255/35/18 tyres on the TE37SL rims with 9.5j and 22offset... I set my front camber to -4 and rear camber to -2... I also have a shep trans ultimate ratio gearbox and the stage 2 transfer case with the wavetrac LSD.... What do u think of this setup and what else can I do to improve it ?

Rear LSD? Cusco or carbonetics 1.5way ? Another coilovers like onlins ?
