Sunday night I was driving at low RPMs. I stopped at a stop sign and when I pulled away the car started misfiring. I.E. got louder, definately felt like it wasnt running on all cylinders. The car got jerky, louder and had much less power. also when idleing it sounds bad but mostly maintains idle. but if you are driving it and you go to stop, the car will go to about 200 rpms or less and really feel like its going to die before it recovers to normal 1000rpm. Spark plugs all appear intact and the coilpacks dont look melted. it appears I need to buy new coil packs but I dont want to spend $600 and then it not fix the problem. I replaced my Spark plugs with NGK Laser Iridium about 6k miles ago but the car is running stock coil packs. 165k miles. head rebuild with new cams etc at approx 90k miles. The car is mostly modded out with WORKS products including custom tune. and a TR-340 package++ 21 lbs boost. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated.
