Ha, Just a random Hi. Abner, Right?
You were the driving motivation I had years ago for building a working methanol system for my evo. I havent really been on this forum for years but I still have the same evo I had 9 years ago with same engine and head with 120k miles. 100+ of which with methanol anhydrous. It still uses the same hobbs switch I bought from you. I figure you would probably log on within a year so just thought Id say thanks

in the days when there was only the hfs-1 and the hfs-5, the hfs-1 is a lot easier to install (less wiring). the hfs-5...installation is a nightmare, i have install quite a few of it and it still scares me till this day! i help my buddies in tucson install 2x hfs-5 in 1 day and it wrecked my back for a whole week!

richard@aquamist took the inputs from users, dudical, evansmith to name a few, simplify the wiring and added great features to the 6 - the resulting product is one that pretty much leaves snow, coolingmist, labonte et al in the dust.

go with the hfs-6, its worth every $!

    hope this helps

    Hi Sparky,
I am not a Aquamist dealer but i am a devoted Aquamist user since i had my VIII in 2003.

(HFS-1 + DDS3 failsafe) = the injection is full bore when the triggering point is reached
(HFS-6 + DDS3 failsafe) = when the triggering point is reached, water/meth injection mirrors fuel injector duty cycle. there are trim pods on the controller to add/reduce the rate of injection.

Slow: Are you an Aquamist dealer? Can you sell me a complete Meth kit for my Evo? What is the diff between the 1 kit with all the DDS-3 failsafe and the new 6 kit, in layman´s terms? I know that Big Al says that he prefers the 1 kits for most applicatons. What is your opinion? If I were to get a 1 kit would you recommend any optional parts other than the failsafe? What do you say: HFC-1 with failsafe, or the full-on HFC-6 kit?Any advice would be appreciated....ThanksSparky
