It was awesome. The track is enormous, first of all. The sound is epic. It is SO loud there. The cars ripping down the front straight are only a hundred feet away or so, and all the exhaust noise bounces off the walls and stands. It's like a canyon of engine noise. I wish we could run it left around the oval like it's supposed to be raced, but it was still amazing seeing that yard of bricks!
Keep an eye out for the Speed Channel broadcast. It doesn't show much of us, but it is a great watch!
Matt, what was it like to race at Indy? There is something almost hallowed about the track. All the history and legends who have raced there. I wasn't able to watch the race on Speed2.com. and I so wanted to see your Camaro. Also, it looked like your car had the fastest lap in the race. Nice job.
