    Did you ever get that problem with the door solved? I think what the problem is is that the key was a replacement and was never programmed with the fob. Look in your user manual and it will tell you how to program a new key to the car. Hope that helps. I read that you only got one fob and key and you bought the car used. Yes, you got screwed. Check and make sure you program it and let me know if that works.

    Hey, noticed your in germany from browsing around here on the forums and was wondering if you get any work done here on your evo? I am having the biggest problems trying to find someone who is willing to or knows how to even touch my car. Thanks for any help

    Hey dude, I was just reading your post about the door problem. (someone brought it back to life)
    I'm sure by now you got it fixed, but while i was reading it i thought of a solution for you. Get one of those little solar powered battery tenders. They plug into the cig lighter and a little solar panel sits on your dash, keeping the battery charged while you are away. Maybe this will help for future deployments.
