Hey man have you had any problems with your gurney flap? I installed mine, only to come outside and find it coming off. I pressed it on really good then it started to come off again after riding down the highway.

The pros for removing the EGR valve is the added weight reduction, its not alot but you clean up the clutter under the hood as well. I'm running a standalone ECU so i am not going to throw any CELS. For you if you are using the OEM ECU you will throw a CEL for sure, unless your tuner has disabled the EGR valve CEL.

Hey meng I read your thread about removing your IM on the evo 8. I'm about to remove mine as well. I want to clean the **** out of it, install a P2R gasket, and do the shaft seals on the TB. I noticed that you mentioned that you removed the EGR and installed a block off plate. Is there pros and cons to removing. For instance if I remove the EGR and place a block off plate will it throw a CEL??? What would I gain for removing the EGR ???

I'm also removing the IM b/c I want to change out the oil pressure switch underneath there.
    Thanks for any future help.

    Banana EVOS FTW.
