Smile A/C delete belt for 2003 Lancer models

If you're like me and your compressor just crapped out and you can't afford the money to throw at replacing it, or if you just want the extra HP gain and weight reduction, the proper sized belt to use is http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...59_0_8373_6774

This will allow you to bypass the compressor and prevent further damage while you save up enough money to fix the issue, or remove the system altogether if you're going to race.

I wanted to post this up after having this issue, and finding only Evo and RS stuff on the forums, nothing for base lancers but a bunch of people asking and not providing info.

Thanks man! I have been looking for a thread or some help like this for months.

I bought a used ac compressor with the clutch being broken and didn't realize it until the warranty was over. This will help me a lot including I'm planning on taking the ac compressor out of my car to gain extra hp and lessen the weight on my car.

You saved me a lot of money

glad its helping. Route the belt so that it still uses the tensioner pulley. So around the crank and around the power steering, with the outside of the belt pushing against the bell-shaped pulley. It's super easy, don't be skerred ;-)

Does any know the Part number or size of the Serpentine Belt to run without AC Compressor. My AC compressor clutch stopped working and resulted in Serpentine belt breaking .

Looking for Part number to find in Tornonto Canada Area
