Hey there,

I just installed a new Pioneer H/U, amp and sub and got no sound. After seeing this, I got out my voltmeter and began checking everything - resistance on the sub was fine (2 ohms) and the amp turned on fine and was not in protect mode, but I noticed that the there was no signal being sent from the deck (RCAs had no reading on multiple settings). To test the setup, I then plugged in a 3.5mm-to-RCA cord from my phone to the amp with a 50hz test tone and the amp started to drive the sub. Now my attention is clearly on the deck.

As I said, I just installed a brand new deck (I've already exchanged one with Amazon), and installed brand new RCA cords. Is there anything on the Lancer itself (2004 OZ Rally) that could be preventing the deck from putting out a signal? The deck is a Pioneer DEH-X6500BT. Thanks for your help!

Only suggestion would be to check the sub settings inside the deck. Maybe the internal crossovers are disabled or something.
