crazy misfire issue plz read!!!!
I'm new to the forum this is my first post sorry if its in the wrong area....yes I'm a newbie sorry and yes my first lancer but not my first car. Ok so my lancer oz is having a crazy misfire issue I can't figure it out. I got new plugs, new wires, new mass air flow meter, new coil packs, new vaccume lines, new plug wires...
My map sensor doesn't do any thing when I unplug it. I did have it tested and its getting power and does change volts when under vaccume. No check engine light when unplugged. Checked idle air control valve seems to be functioning.
Cleaned throttle body and seafoamed engine still no change...I need help plz!!!!
Oh I can drive the car and I have good throttle in W.O.T..

Possibly 02 sensor? When you go WOT the 02 sensor is turned off. Have you went and had the codes pulled? How long have you had the car? I would go and get it scanned to see if there are any codes.
1. Its possible the cel light has burnt out is not operational
2. Even if the cel does work a pending code will not illuminate it but may give you valuable info.

Cel lights working... I found the issue, one of my metal Vaccum lines on the intake manifold must have a leak. I bypassed with a new rubber hose from throttle body to the little redish filter or something and no misfire, no check engine, and smoother idle...its running great. So don't be like me and change every thing and spend mad money, when I ended up fixing it with a 3 dollar hose lol...
