aftermarket radio issue

So after installing the kenwood head unit, I am left with the illumination and dimmer wire unconnected. the kenwood harness doesnt have a wire for those 2. I can live without the dimmer, but I need the illumination wire to light up the center console and right side parking light. Do any of you guys have any suggestion?

Why would your radio harness have anything to do with your parking light? Center console as well. But if I'm wrong you could tap of your clock harness.

It will go to either the orange or orange and white wire thats allumination. I know in my car the dimmer doesnt work if I dim the lights the headunit goes bright, if I turn up the dim all the way it goes off. If you flop the wires it does the same thing, if you hook both wires up it blows a fuse, I have wondered this myself but all I did was turned the dimmer enough to get the allumination to come on.

Has a lot to do with it being the radio harness feeds power from the same source.

lol it does sounds really funny having the radio harness control so many damn lights. I connected the illumination wire to the left side parking light and that did the trick. Everything is fully functional now. DAMN KENWOOD for not supplying a proper harness! lol
