Injen CAI problem........

Hey, I bought a Injen CAI not to long ago but just reciently had to convert it to a short ram cause I was taking in some water. Has this happened to anybody else or maybe I just installed it incorrectly??? Also a nearby Performance shop that specializes in diamond star line up tells me that anything with a MAS system should not have a CAI installed on it. Can anybody back that up or is it just crap talk.

oh yeah, I also drilled little holes into the grill that sits right infront of the filter when it was a CAI, could this be the problem or is there something else.....

I think that drilling the hole in your grill was the prob. I've had mine for a while now too, and I have no prob with water gettin in. What I did too is buy a splash guard for a little more protection. I don't know what to tell you about that guy saying that stuff about the MAS. Why did he say that?
