Reset SRS light?

So my mom used my car the other day and she's short so she had to move the seat up. I guess while pulling on the bar to move the seat, she managed to also pull one of the yellow srs airbag plugs out that are located under the seat. I plugged it back in and my dash still says "service required" with the airbag symbol. Is there any possible way to reset this code without taking it to a dealer? I tried disconnecting the battery overnight as well as using OBD software to try and clear it but no luck. I found this site while browsing google and it seems pretty interesting but it's for hondas.

Anyone else had this problem and/or know how to do it?

Unfortunately I'm almost positive that you will have to take it back to the dealer for this problem. I would of thought they would have a better connection system than something that can be just easily be pulled out like that for such an important system on the car
