Fuel injector problems?

My 03 lancer has been having problems accelerating for quite a while, but especially last 5-6 months. I'll be the first car at a green light, and hit the gas and nothing. Eventually it goes but atfer much effort. Talk about embarrasing or annoying..or if i m drivin and its trying to go into gears (automatic) it goes into rpm of 4,and i have to floor it to get any speed...

How much it usually cost to get fuel injectors taken car of? Thinking about taking it in soon to a good shop, ths is annoying.

try some injector cleaner and an oil change to go along with it. i know that lucas makes a really good injector cleaner.

either that of get some seafoam and that should do the trick, as for it cleans everything!

if worse comes to worse you might need some new injectors, which new would be quite a bit, but there are compaines like gb remanufacturing out there that reman them for half the price as the new ones with a warranty and everyting.

sometime it takes a few cycles to fully clean them. thats why on the back in the instructions it says to continue use to see better performance.

in an odd way its like heartburn. to fully "cure" it you take medicine for a few days. kinda the same with injector cleaner. 1 time isnt fully going to be able to clean them.

Can weather affect low tranny fluid? It is weird, like today this afternoon it was sunny and 70 and i was driving around, and it had little, if any problems with acceleration. Maybe because most of time when I go to work its in morning,i should let it warm up a little before i leave, even though its like upper 40s when I leave. When I leave work and go home it happens a lot too. And work is only 5 minutes away. In fact, when i thnk about it,most of time it happens is when I am going to or from work.
