08 GTS Manual clicking???

Hey guys. I have an 08 GTS with a manual tranny. I noticed yesterday that there is a rapid clicking sound when I put my key in the ignition and turn it to the run position. The click lasts about a second. Im not sure where its coming from. Has anyone had this happen to them? It happens everytime I turn the key to the run position. The car still turns on and runs fine though. Not sure what to do?

It is you imobilizer. It is totally normal. Once you put in your key the imobilizer unlucks the engine so you can turn on the car. it is a safty feature.
