A/C vibrations and Warm
Well its been a few since I've been on the board but i have been having some pretty terrible luck with my A/C lately. It seems as though its been downhill for a while but being summer still in South Florida its just becoming rediculous.
As of lately i have been having the following issues.
1. When loads are being put on the car, such as subwoofers, the Air conditioning seems to cut out. Now when i say "cut out" i mean, the air blows, all the a/c lights stay on but i just get air out of the vents.
2. When i idle with the air on, i seem to have a vibrating sound. From the outside of the car its very subtle, but from inside its the sound of metal vibrating against metal. Sounds like its around the firewall but i'm not sure as to what it could be.
3. As of this past weekend i ran into the biggest problem i have had yet. It seems that i can get the a/c to start out cold when i turn it on, but after a 4 to 5 minute drive, the air stops blowing cold and just blows. I havent noticed a difference between it cutting out when i come to traffic lights or while crusing down the street. It seems to be everywhere i go.
I can shut the a/c off for a few minutes, typically 10, and when i turn it back on, it seems to work for a few minutes, and again stops blowing cold.
I have had the lines vacuumed out and had new freon put in. I checked the level this morning and it is still full. Of all the things on the car, the A/C is the only thing i can do nothing about without some help. So any would be appreciative. Thank you all in advance.
BTW Todays HIGH for South Florida will be 90 degrees.
