car wont start
i just installed my new motor and it wont start. everything is hooked up but it will only crank. any ideas?

Wow, I don't even know where to start. Who built it and who installed it? (I'm assuming you on the latter based on your post). Have you ever done this before and what have you tried? Is it an upgraded motor? I'd start with the basics, fuel + spark = ignition. Make sure fluids are in the system, etc. Good luck.

Any CEL? Exactly what yahu said check for spark first off by pulling your plugs and holding the plug against your head and have someone crank the engine and look for spark, make sure you have some kind of noncunductive gloves on or you will be in for a shock!! lol If you have spark then you have to look at compression, fuel, and timing, normally if your timing is off it will show with low compression as well.

new motor means it could be so many things, or one little thing lol your going to have to go through and make sure everything is 100%

Sweet bro that should work out good I am getting the last of my parts for my build hopefully within the next month to two months yaaa!! lol

alrighty, i figured it out. the fuel isnt get passed the injectors. it will start with starting fluid but after a minute it starts running rough and then dies. they are off of the new motor which was sitting in a junkyard for six months so i'm just going to pick up some new ones. thanks guys.
