Drives: 03 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Turbo...

Power Steering Gone???

Gents,
Recently turboed my 03 Lancer OZ and had to delete my stock power steering pump assembly (LOL dont ask how i kept my AC)... I heard some talk from some local buddies about the new mini coopers having electric power steering pumps and such. Well my question for all who feel like answering is has any of you ran into this problem and what was your solution? I would like to get back my power steering someway or somehow... That stiff steering doesnt help when deliving pizza four nights a week... Thanks...

Well after a little research and a couple friends giving me ideas. I found this forum on a different board...

http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=57308

I ordered the pump from junkyarddog.com for about 200 bucks used. I plan on using some diaelectric clear cauching for the connectors to protect them...

When all said and done I will post how I did it for the lancer install...

If anybody has any thoughts, concerns or something i may have missed. please let me know...

Justin
