I don't think this applies to people in the US. I've maxed out my Lancer in 5th gear at around 140mph with no beeping or governor kicking in.

Trust me if USDM/EDM/JDM Evos or any cars for that matter had a speed limit alarm it would have gone down long before now.

Sorry but no cars in the United states have that sound . I have been 120Mph+ (195 km) with no sounds at all.
