RRM Grip Springs

Anyone have the RRM grip springs?

Looking into lowering the car because its way too high off the ground stock as we all know. Seen a few diff manufactures with different drops and i'm curious to know what everyone is going with. Want to lower it but i don't want a bouncy feel and i am def looking for a better performing spring.

Any Suggestions?

go with Teins... its extra 50 bucks but wayy better... i have GRIP.. and im unhappy with them.. they are still high off the ground in the front. and the 2 sides are not balanced. (left side is slightly higher than right) spend the extra buck man

or wait for Tein Coilovers

Honestly I was considering getting Teins or Eibech for awhile and I figured to just say screw it and save up for coil overs. It will save you the upgrade later down the road and the Megan or BC coilovers are amazing. Gives you an extremely aggressive stance that is alot lower than any springs will offer. But if you are bent on springs I would say Tein or the Eibech pro kit.

Tein S-Techs or Eibach SportLines are prolly the better springs out.. they are the biggest drop of the springs and makes the car look amazing.. also have been no complaints that im aware of

I'm just afraid of the car being bouncy with the coil overs. They are a lot more expensive but if its worth it i'll prob save for them. Appreciate all the info. I'm gonna keep shopping around. See what i run in to.

I'm looking into these springs too, no one has really helped except smoke, did you get an alignment smoke?..Anyone else with GRIP springs? Are they good for a daily driver?

I wouldn't go with tein, the drop is too low. The GRIP drop looks perfect, anything lower just looks ghetto, not aggressive. might as well put some hydraulics on.

tein would be the way to go but if u drop ur car.. u always need an alignment afterward, whenever u mess around with suspension u need an alignment no matter what

Is it best to get the alignment right after you put em on or wait a week or 2

Get the alignment 1 week after the install to allow time for the springs to settle properly.

lol I am going to try and stay on topic this time

I haven't heard anything great about the GRIPS but I have seen complaints. I can't say anything first hand but I had Teins on my MR2 and Eibechs on my 300zx and both were great teins a little more so. Eibechs won't start off with as much of a drop but after they settle in I've seen some lancers get pretty low with them. Handling wise I have heard nothing bad about Eibechs so far.

I think right now most guys are going with either the Tein S-Tech or Eibach Sportlines, depending on how much drop u want.

yea im in the same prediciment as englandsemo i am looking at the rrm grip springs because the drop is perfect i dont whant to go too low because the school i go to has some killer speed bumps and roads around where i live are unforgiving so i can only drop my car a little bit i lowered my bmw 325is about 1.75 inches all around and it made it perfect for the track but i bottom out on speed bumps =p so im hoping to get so reviews from thos of you on the rrm springs before i go ahead and buy them
