Too much. The tranny itself would be ~3k.

You would save money by going to the dealer and straight up trading for a manual transmission.

Labor for it would be pretty steep too. is charging ~285 to install the GTS front/side air dams on my ES. I can't imagine how much it would cost to swap Trannies...

dont do it, there are so many controller parts that would need to be changed, its not worth it. your better off trading in your car for a manual. it would cost you that much

why cant you do it yourself? double sided tape is not that hard to use...

anyways back on topic, you have to remember that you also need to install an extra pedal. In this car, its so "cluttered" under the dash and under the hood that labor for that alone would be very steep. A guy that installed a manual tranny on an E30 BMW who installed the pedal himself said the pedal alone was about 3 days work.....although well worth it lol and that car has a lot less "stuff" under the dash and whatnot, making for more room for an easier install.

Def not doing it by them, I went to check the prices on the pieces and he quoted me on it. The air dams were about $548. But yeah anyway it would cost a lot and if you did switch all that stuff out and labor you would probably be in Si prices anyway (With the car's value of course)

Dude, for the cost, just get a turbo, timing mod, pulley, etc for your car.
