syncros?

i think my syncros are going and i can especially feel it from 2nd to 3rd and even feel it "grinding" on normal everyday shifting. does anyone have a rough idea how much work this would be or just take it to the dealer and have them do it?

a dealer fix it? lol that would be atleast 10-12 man hours charge. if not more. if you have a good backyard setup. drop out the tranny. and take it up to a local transmission shop. might take them a few days. but it will save you a few hundred bucks on labor.

I would suggest getting it done professionally if you haven't rebuilt a transmission before. There's no point in spending money on new synchros only to break something else because of a mistake you make while replacing the old ones.

Plan on $800 for a quality rebuild, including all new synchros. You may want to consider mailing it out to someone who specializes in Mitsu transaxles, like Team RIP.
