I know this forum is for CVT shift knob, but I didn't want to post a pointless forum for the difference of transmissions, so has any modified their Manual shift knob? I've been looking around for a few ideas, but everywhere I go, none seem to fit lol. Any ideas?

Actually, this is fine as it's own thread. I'm making it that way.
I'm sure you just have to get the right size knob. Different cars use different threadings. You can unscrew the stock one and check it. Or buy one for a Lancer/Evo and hope didn't change it.

lol, i didnt know whether or not to make it it's own thread since there was one similar. but yeah, im pretty sure did change it cuz they like to go all out when changing up things, but im going to try and ask a friend of mine, that works for an aftermarket parts shop, and see if he can scope around for some. but im hoping someone on here has changed theirs and let me know how and what they used

I'd be willing to bet that anything marked as working with will fit. Usually, any knob will fit any car, whether it's an 07 Evo or a 98 Eclipse...
Personally, if I had MT, I'd be buying one of these nice Delrin-plastic Ralliart knobs.

I got a nice black leather shift knob from Mach V Motorsports:
http://www.machv.com/oemheavleats.html
I like things simple, tasteful, and with a stock look. This does the trick for me, and the price was just $24 plus shipping. It goes nicely with the black leather shift boot. (I assume the stock shift boot is leather!)
Installation was very easy: unscrew the stock shift knob, screw on this one. Perfect fit!

sorry I was just reading about some of the stuff they are selling, an evo shift knob, this is what they have to say

you have got to be kidding me? a shift knob makes your car safer in a crash. Who knew?
Not sure if I want to buy something from a company who thinks they can pull that

With five vehicles, a tractor, an eight-year-old son, and a horse farm to take care of, it's all I can do to keep everything running (and keep my two cars clean, washed, and waxed)!!! Not much time for mods!
I'll try to get a pic of my shifter soon. No complaints about it being too boring :>(
