Question '02 OZ Front Wheel Hub Assembly ?

I've got a '02 OZ and have some noises and vibrations coming from my front right wheel. I want to replace the wheel hub assembly for it but I can't find the right one for my car for the life of me.

I can find the '02 rear assembly no prob, and I can find the '03 front assemblies. But no '02 front assemblies anywhere. I just want to make sure I get the right fit and stud pattern, and I want the bearing already pressed in so I can do this myself at home.

Has anyone found this for the '02 OZ?

You won't find them because the spindle sits in between the hub and the bearing. If you want an easy to swap out assembly, you'll need to pick up a complete spindle assembly removed from a wrecked Lancer. You might be better off picking up an extra spindle assembly to send out to have a new bearing pressed in. That way your car isn't down in the process. See the diagram below.

You should be able to replace it with any 02-05 Lancer Ls or Oz spindles . Maybe even a 06 Es Ls Oz but not to sure .

I now this is an old thread but I didn't want to make a new post for something that is already here. Can anyone confirm this.^

guys at Blanchards over torqued my lugs and I went to take my front drivers side tire off and snap. There goes one lug. They are under new management now so there isn't a going back and saying "Hey, You guys over torque my tires. Gimme a new wheel hub!".

I have an 03 OZ. And a junked lancer in 4x114.3mm is next to impossible to find around here.

No need to replace the whole hub just go to your local parts store and pick up a new stud , they are about 2 dollars and really easy to put in .

Ok. One more quick question. Is the thread 1.25 or 1.5. I read somewhere that Mitsubishi is 1.5 but I'm not sure.

hub in 4lugs 100 mm is available from dorman ref 930350 (I got two, nice pieces!)
hub in 4 lugs 114.3 mm is available form dorman 930351
in 5 lugs is 930352.

do you have an oz 2006 2L, 2.4L or 2L turbocharged? 930051 should fit the 2L, and comes without bearing, you have to press it in the back of the knuckle (spindle)

i have 2006 lancer oz rally its a FF, 2.0 non turbo, SOHC, 5 speed manual 4 lug bolt pattern.
i buy parts on ebay, what is this dorman ref number 930050 and 930051? which one do i need the 100mm or the 114.3.

ill need the the hub with the bearings, if not assembly then individual parts, ive looked around on ebay, but i dont have the necessary knowledge on which bearing type and hub to use

thanks for the reply

Drop ebay
What is a FF ...?

As far as I know for your Oz you need the 4 lugs 114.3mm (4.5 inches). So your ref is dorman 930351 (sorry I wrote 930051 but it is 930351!)
To be sure just measure your distances!
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=2194620

regarding the bearing I got skf or national. you need skf fw34 or national (or timken) 510079, or the equivalent in beck/arnley
check out www.rockauto.com and pick up the hub, then go to the wheel bearing section and choose the model sent from the same warehouse to minimise your shipping costs - the model from beck/arnley ships from the same warehouse as dorman 930351

Here is the link for the national, it gives you the dimensions you need

Have fun!

But do you need to change the hub, is it damaged? On an ES I'd say change both because the dorman 930350 is quite cheap (~30$), but for OZ the part is ~ 65$, so 130 both sides... if they are not damaged, well...

Thanks alot. I just needed the parts for front left side of my 06 oz due to collision last year. Didn't know what specs I needed to know before buying, now thanks to you I do now. I'll be getting the hub and new bearing, I figured the part was 930350 as on eBay, that's the hub as for the bearing I still don't now, but I'll look into the links you posted here above. Thanks again. After I'll fix it I'll reply to your last message of how it went :-)
