evo x rims on lancer??

I bought evo gsr rims a while back and also have the evo x wheels.
I never got a chance to put them on my car yet though
and im not planning to until after winter
does anyone know if these rims and tires will fit our lancer?
alot of people told me that it will stick out or rub on turns.
some tell me that it can work out if i roll the fenders.
so with this information, does that mean i won't be able to lower my car at all?
does anyone have evo x rims on their lancers?
please help me out here, thanks

Drives: Evo X GSR,08 GTS (for sale), and a K20 again.

dont know why you would buy the wheels without knowing if they fit but yes it will fit and yes you will have to roll your fenders..you can lower it too just make sure the fenders are rolled.

and what do you mean by you bought gsr rims a while back and have the evo x wheels, those are the same thing? u have 2 sets of evo x wheels im guessing?

I don't think this is right, people are rubbing on 235s with better wheels (ie. higher offset), with the Evo X wheels, there's a good chance you'll still rub on big bumps or with weight in the rear. You may have to roll the fenders.

ambystom01 - it all depends on the offset.

plus, the wider the wheel the lower offset you are going to have to go to make them clear the brakes and everything. thats from personal experiences.

also 245 will work fine on the evo x rims on STOCK HEIGHT on our lancers.

if you are lowered get some camber arms in the rear and camber bolts in the front.

I know it depends on the offset, the Evo X wheels are relatively low offset as well as wider. You don't need to drop the offset to clear the brakes (although the rest of the suspension can be an issue), plenty of people run wider wheels with near stock offset. I really doubt 245s will fit with zero rubbing, Ralliart guys have been trying this for some time and they invariably rub.
