Getting Tein Springs, is a chamber kit REQUIRED?

just wondering if i get these springs, do i HAVE TO get a chamber kit in order for it to function properly? i know an alignment is recommended afterward too but im more worried about the chamber issue..and how do i adjust the chamber and what not?

well usually when lowering a decent amount (generally 1.5 inches or more) you would need a camber kit. Im getting tein springs for my 09 GTS and you do not need to get a camber kit necessarily. It is recommended that you do so Im getting the tein springs and a camber kit most likely from road race motorsports its under their suspension section. It gives you 1.5 degrees of adjustment just give em a call they will give you the low down of everything about lowering your whip. (562)906-0080

thanks but i would never go with the chamber kit from them..there was a thread about a month or 2 ago..and RRM WAY overcharges for their chamber kits..people posted links with prices significantly lower than the price of RRMs

what are the negatives of not getting a chamber kit?

I feel the same way about some of RRM's stuff "WAY overcharging". I was just giving you a reference point off the top of my head i knew that they had one, im all about saving money as long as its quality. Im definitely sure there are other kits out there that are better and cheaper! And when lowering it gives you more positive camber which will affect handling quality aka understeer, also will cause undesired increased wear on your tires, so you'll have to replace them sooner. Ive read a fair amount of guys running the tein springs with really minimal affect to their camber and they havnt gotten camber kits. As for me when I put them on mine ill bet a camber kit, I like everything to be dialed in!

I see ingalls has a camber kit for like ~$20
