Rack & Pinion

Has anyone had to replace one and if so how did it go? i'm going to be replacing mine soon so i was just wondering if anyone could give me some insight on it.

u'r gonna have to take off ur subframe,replace the rack then put the subframe back..

Yes you will have to lower the subframe. Disconnect the ball joints and the front and rear motor mounts. Leave the engine hanging from the mounts near the fenders. Much easier to do on a lift than on jackstands. Is your rack leaking?
