Tein S Tech springs on 2009 DE

Hello,
I've seen conflicting answers about whether or not the TEIN S Tech springs are OK with the stock shock absorbers. I am thinking about getting these for my 2009 DE.

Can someone please settle this issue for me?

Thanks,
Matt.

(please move this to the suspension section)

I got S tech tein springs and the drop is really good. I change my shocks to KYB Gas shocks.

Ive using these springs on with stock shocks and the car runs fine. drove it over 10000km so far and no problems. i however do want to change my shocks as well, just because i think it will give me a better ride.

mvattamatt where did you buy your shocks and how much u paid for it?

bro i got my shocks from GMX motorsports and I paid for 2 front $280 installed and $150 for back installed. The ride is cool and the drop is ok. This S Tech tein I think is their new sets of lowering springs. They will sag but not more than 5mm. Its 1 yr warranty.

what would happen if i leave the stock shock absorbers and put Tein S Tech lowering springs? Thats how im running, and i only complain about a weird sound that happens when the car is out of balance, like when crossing a trench where rainwater flows.

Thanks,
Jean
