Ralley Armor Mud Flaps?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but can anyone here give me a little more info on the Ralley Armor mud flaps? I'm looking to buy a set for my car, and I'm wondering if the "basic" mud flaps are all I really need. They are around 45$ and still look pretty nice in pictures. However, there is a nicer set of polyurethane flaps for around 125$, and I was wondering if they are really all that different or better. I'm a high school student so saving money while still having something that is functional and looks good is always a plus! Here are some links to the website. Thanks for the help!

i have the regular ones, the plastic pieces... there are scrathed to hell on the bottoms from bottoming out in spirited canyon runs... so i would have wasted my money on those polys

yea basics are all u need, they will flex when u go over speed bumps and stuff too

polyurethane ones are just more flexible and shiney

but i like the basics cuz they are just matted black (cuz my rims are matblack lol)

I have the basic ones too, and they do what they're supposed to do. However they're not as flexible as I'd like (the front ones are maintaining a curved shape) so I guess you get what you pay for.

GET THE POLY ONES!

I wish I did now. Over time the basics will look like garbage even if you don't do any rallying. They will begin to flare up into a curve shape and if you go over speed bumps often they will begin to separate your bumper from your body panel due to a lack of flexibility

Like this:

I bought them because I didn't want them to be shiny, but I regret my decision.

hmmm that body panel thing shudnt happen, bcuz the rally armor flaps bolt not onto the body panels but through the panels and the the metal holes(think its part of the metal frame of the car) behind the panels so it shud be fine, that might just be an exceptional case w/ ur car

i enjoy the polys cause they are flexy.. my friend has the basics on his evo and they barely move.. if they scrape somehow they look like they are about to snap in half..

get the basics. they are all you need. personally I dont like my flaps to scream for attention.. the basics are actually quite flexible and they are not built cheap at all.

No problem with your lowered stance and speedbumps with the mudflaps?

I just purchased some basic no name ones and modified them to fit the existing clips, and cutout a section so that it fits smooth (as there is a bump where a bolt sticks out)
