If you can weld, make one yourself.
If you know someone who can weld, get it made.

It's not that hard to make a functional strut bar.
EngineerBoy made mine back in the days. Although it's a really simple product, it serves its purpose the way it should.

(This board kills spaces, so the bunch of dots are actually spaces.)
That's what it looks like and it works.

Lol, why?
Cause they're the only ones available

RRM will have quality parts but man they charge a lot for them. 150 bucks for a couple pieces of tubing welded together is pretty high. I think going through ebay will do you just fine if you find a quality seller

Don't forget their bars are "powder coated", so that drives the cost up a little. I just hope the powder coat on the strut bar is more decent than the powder coat on their intake manifolds

Now do the math my way:

125$ for a used welder
25$ for steel
1 hour of your time
------------------------------
a strut bar, and a welder

That's right... for the same amount of money, you get a bar that you can slap on your car, and you get a welder you'll be able to use for an infinite number of projects.

If you can weld, why not just weld a bar between the strut towers and don't bother with the mounting points

As for the urinal rules, most guys put way too much thought into it.

You could.
But mounting points give you the ability to remove the bar if ever you wanted to.

Yes but if you have cruise control, then probably not, as the cruise servo is in the way.

RRM strut bars will fit even if you have cruise control. It's the ebay type bars that usually don't fit over it.
