215-50-16
soooo i am about to get tires for my new 16x7 rims and i was planning on getting 205-50-16 tires but i like to look of wide tires (at least i think) so i was ondering if the 215 width would rub??? the rims are also +38 offset which i know would factor in
if anyone had pic that would be greatttt

I would use a size 215/45-16 tire if I was heartset on using 215 series tires, because they are only 0.6% larger than stock.
If you wanted to consider a set of 205/45-16 they are WAY more readily available, and cheaper, and they are also only 0.9% smaller than stock tires.
To answer your question, no, I do not think they would rub.
Edit: 215/50-16 tires are 4.2% larger than stock

Right on the fence as far as rubbing or not. If you want a shorter tire look at the 205/45's mentioned above.

it'll look nice if you are lowered and have the stock ground effects.
otherwise it'll look funny

215 should work, 225 might be pushing it. If you don't lower it, it might work.
