General Exclaim UHP ?

I currently need tires pretty badly so i was looking at the ratings on the General Exclaim UHP in a 205/45/16 . Has anyone ever used these?
I saw them on www.tirerack.com

I to was searching for new tires recently (215/45/17) so after some research I was considering General Exclaim UHP, Sumitomo HTR Z III and the Kuhmo Ecsta AST. I ended up going with the Kuhmos because of their higher load index (91). I recomend you get a tire with a higher load rating because our cars are heavier than most other cars in this segment, so with an 83 load index, they will wear down much faster as did my previous tires(84). Just my two cents, but i am no professional either.

Not a bad tire for the price. Works great in wet conditions but lacks a bit in dry because of it's choppy tread design. That also makes them a little noisier than others. Overall I don't have any complaints and sell a lot because of the price.

So what would be a better tire in the price range?

The Dunlop DZ101 and Sumitomo HTR-Z II would be more balanced across the board.

It looks like the Kumhos are a better choice for your application, also the yokohama avid h4s look fine. Also try onlinetires.com, they sell falkens and the Ziex ZE-912's are a great choice

Well this is my 3rd set of rims and on the past 2 i have had those kuhmos , there a good tire , last a long time and have good stability .They just dont have all that much traction . I just want a little more traction than the kuhmo ast

So I just put my 215/45/17 Kumhos on and they have a tiny rubbing issue with the passenger side wheel well. They barely rub, so Im gunna have to shave a piece of the plastic. Try the yokohamas and tell me how it goes.
