i got teins and so far no problems. ride quality didnt change as much, only when you get on bumps on the road which is understandable since its dropped. umm.. in my opinion, honestly my car runs smoother than my cousins stock rx8

I have teins...and the ride got a little rough...but that is always bound to happen when dropping your car....u lower ur ride height so the springs have to compensate to be stiffer so you don't blow ur oem struts over every bump.

If I had to the chance to change it all..I would of went with a set of coilovers. I have blown 2 struts so far..roads can get bad over here. its expensive to replace struts and get an allignment everytime that happens. with the price I paid for 2 struts...I could ofbought a coilover system

def learn from my mistake...go coilover. My struts have been good for a while now...knock on wood...this gives me time to save up. I was halfway to having th emoney last year then my strut blew and I wasn't going to drive around for a couple of more months on a broken oil leaking strut til I got the money.

if ur gonna do it...do it right

damn bro, thanks for the heads up. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. You should try these, they supposedly help with ride quality:

I am deciding between teins or eibachs so some feedback would be great.

save up for the coilovers. They are def a nice ride, and with the adjustable damper u can match it to whatever road conditions you find. careful of pot holes though, they sound like they are gonna break your car when you hit them fast.

coilovers would be nice to have, but $900+ for a good set. Or you can find the nex coilovers without damper or camber for $650, but I only know of 1 person who has those and he's putting them on tomorrow. I went with teins because it's the best drop for my car, especially since I'm on 17s. I should be getting them soon from someone. I hear eibach sportlines and teins s techs are a pretty bumpy/rough ride, and the the rrm are as close to stock as you can get, so it's really up to you, a lower drop, or a better ride quality

I just uninstalled my coilovers because of the roads in VA Beach! No matter what the setting, the ride was just horrible... From what I've heard, springs may be a more comfortable ride that coilovers, depending on the conditions of your local roads...

I have a pair off RRM GRIP springs, they feel just like stock and it handles pretty well. I have no complaints.

Also, i have a buddy who bought eibachs and he likes them, but they seem to stiff (for daily driving) he got a 2in drop and it looks really good, but he gave up a lot of smooth driving for it.

So if i had to choose i would still go RRM for the best ride quality
