HOW TO: Easy Cluster Swap

This is a how to for a very easy itsall of a new gauge cluster.

Tools:

Screwdriver

Steps

1.) Unscrew the 2 screws holding on the plastic retainer for the cluster. (Located above the steeringwheel)

2.) Pull retainer out by grabbing on the top part of it and easing the bottom out of it you have to unsnap the botton has 2 grooves that it slips into.

3.) After you have it off start to unscrew the three screws along the outside of the cluster

4.) After you have the screws out you have to turn the cluster at almost a 45% angle to get the cluster out. It takes a few tries.

5.) After you have the Cluster out you can unhook the 2 connecters in the back by pressing down on the tabs.

6.) Hook up new cluster.

7.) Assemble. Good thing about this is that it only takes 10-15 mins.

Cool, but i'm sure you have to locate the connectors in a different location since on this cluster the tach is in the middle as opposed to it being on the left on the US Lancers. Pls correct me if i'm wrong.

For your new cluster. 20 km/h means 20 mph in the original cluster, right? OR it works like a real Japanese Evo? I meant, if it is 20 mph on the stock cluster, then you're running about 32 km/h on your new cluster? Does it work like that? OR it works just like a stock cluster except that it's on km/h instead of mph.
