lsajlksfkisslsajlksfmylsajlksfasslsajlksfhellaciou slsajlksf!
Is this spelling better for you?
Back to the subject.
Couldn’t you just swap out a cluster from a US EVO VIII?
Aren't they the same as the VII?

how legal/illegal is this? when you sell you car, isn't the mileage off? what's stopping me from driving my lancer into the ground, then just buying a new gauge cluster and selling it as a low mileage car?
anyway, it looks cool, but if there are any problems like i mentioned, i'd rather leave well enough alone.

Do you think it might be possible to change the cluster LCD display to keep the one with the original mileage? Or is it just impossible?

Well it took some time, but I finally found an OZ cluster on eBay for $89. Best of all the milage is pretty close to my own.
I can't wait for it to arrive and install if it's as easy as you say it is. Still gets me that the dealership wanted $600 for it and said it wouldn't work. Afterwards I plan on getting the halo gauges.
