Is this spelling better for you?

Back to the subject.

Couldn’t you just swap out a cluster from a US EVO VIII?
Aren't they the same as the VII?

how legal/illegal is this? when you sell you car, isn't the mileage off? what's stopping me from driving my lancer into the ground, then just buying a new gauge cluster and selling it as a low mileage car?

anyway, it looks cool, but if there are any problems like i mentioned, i'd rather leave well enough alone.

Do you think it might be possible to change the cluster LCD display to keep the one with the original mileage? Or is it just impossible?

Is it possible to take this cluster: http://forums.evolutionm.net/attachm...achmentid=4684 and replace it with this cluster: http://forums.evolutionm.net/attachm...achmentid=4686 ?

According to two different Mitsu dealerships it's not possible, and would cost me almost $600.

it is possible i just ordered my oz cluster someone else on the board has it and installed it already, another question i herd you can switch the mileage meters off the clusters so you have your same miles, is this a pain to do? anyone do it before

Well it took some time, but I finally found an OZ cluster on eBay for $89. Best of all the milage is pretty close to my own.

I can't wait for it to arrive and install if it's as easy as you say it is. Still gets me that the dealership wanted $600 for it and said it wouldn't work. Afterwards I plan on getting the halo gauges.
