Bent Rims, Can it be fixed?

Hi all, I made a trip to NY and now one of my rims is messed up because of a dam pothole "See attached pic" I need to know if this can be fixed and where can it be fixed? This is a gunmetal rim so Im not sure the process of fixing this rim. Any thoughts?

my pothole was like the size of a basketball.... I couldn't fix the rim cause it was cracked. I bought a new rim and the city paid for it. My tire took 1 1/2 months to come in because its a BFgoodrich T/A scorcher and the blue ones are hard to find.
